Payment options offered on the Silhouette Design Store

Overview

The Silhouette Design Store allows for the following payment types:

  • Major Credit Card – You may use any major credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover) to make individual download purchases or to pay for subscription payments (month-to-month or upfront payments).
  • PayPal – You may use your PayPal account to complete transactions for individual download purchases. This option is not yet available for month-to-month subscription payments.
  • Silhouette Download Card – You may apply a Silhouette Design Store Download Card onto your account. This credit does not expire once applied to your account and may be used at any time toward individual download purchases. Credit from Download Cards cannot be used toward subscriptions.

Sales Tax

Silhouette America® is required to assess sales tax on all Silhouette Design Store purchases that meet the following two conditions:

  • Purchased items are being delivered to the state of California, Utah, or Washington
    • This is determined by IP address login
  • Purchase is made using a credit card or PayPal

Any purchase made using Silhouette Design Store credit will remain untaxed, regardless of residence. All methods of purchasing Silhouette Design Store credit through the Silhouette Design Store by California, Utah, or Washington residents will incur sales tax, as required by law.
